UPDATED!! [8th September 2004]

Recently... I have been reading a hell lot of books and I love it! Have never read some many books in a year before... usually only about 2-3 books a year... but this year i can definitely reach at least 11 or 12 books! So happy! But the genre is forever the same... romance. Really wish i could find a good psychotic thriller like David Edding's Regina ASAP. Mdm Lydia says never to read the same genre but I ain't heeding it apparently. Okay, I promise myself to keep track of the books i am reading so here goes!

Chronological Order:

Jude Deveraux's Forever* [the 1st book that I absolutely loved in years! The book that enticed me to read somemore!]

Jude Deveraux's
The Black Lyon*

Jude Deveraux's
The Summerhouse

Jennifer Crusie's Faking it

Jennifer Crusie's Fast Woman

Amanda Quick's Affair*

Anna Stuart's Wild Thing

Anna Stuart's The Widow (loved the ending!)

Amanda Quick's Dangerous

Those with the * are the books that I do not mind reading again. Probably the ones with really good plots and romance. Still more to come, there's by far only 9 books here... 12's my target ;)

Updated : Still in Chronological Order

Elizabeth Lowell's
Only You (loved the ending!! I cried... *sob sob*)

Jayne Ann Krentz's Silver Lining

Jayne Ann Krentz's Wildest Dreams **

Elizabeth Lowell's Too Hot To Handle

This week has been a good week. Good week this week. Week good this week. This week good. Good week this... ok, I think you get my point already. Haiz~ I am so delighted to say that I have finally passed a week happily and without worries or a single bad day. Everyday is filled with laughter and I simply love that kind of life. One reason was probably because i have finally xiang3 tong1 le4. Then there's also the anticipation for the performance at D' Marquee. So the whole week is needless to say... fabulous! I was busy busy busy and not a single day of bordom! Well, I can't say that EVERYTHING was suited to my pleasure; there was that stress from geography where that sucky teacher made us finish everything by 5pm on Friday. I had most of it done [75% was meant to be homework from previous sessions] but Cui Xia had like everyting to complete. So Xue Ying and I stayed behind to accompany her till 6 and then she could hand it up. Then we had an ice cream cone from Mac before going home. And Friday nite was totally dedicated to S.S studying. Don't want to disappoint Mr. Das!

Then came along Satuday. Finishd S.S test at 8.10am. Went with Peisi, Kathryn, Jasmine, Jia Yan and Xue Ying to eat brunch at Bedok Hawker centre. We had laksa, chwee kuey, suan pan zi, carrot cake, kway chap and wonton mee! CX and Yuan Jing didn't join us cause went home to get her P.E shirt and Yuan JIng followed to alight at Simei. She had to go home to ... sh*t! LOL. Then we met them at NTUC at Bedok, did a little shopping, bought a small container of my fave guava that could only be bought from M'sia [not any more!] and then we went back to HSCS. The whole class would be going to Orchidville in Mandai. Learned that Orchids were bisexual. Don't want to say anything else... too much info... Arrived home at 5.30pm. And then i was blogging and listenin' to Glory of Love... Good week, good week.

Tonight it's very clear
Cause we're both lying here
There's so many things I want to say
I will always love you
I would never leave you alone

Sometimes I just forget
Say things I might regret
It breaks my heart to see you crying
I don't wanna lose you
I could never make it alone ...

Chorus
I am a man who will fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you'll be dreaming of
We'll live forever
Knowing together that we
Did it all for the glory of love

You'll keep me standing tall
You'll help me through it all
I'm always strong when you're beside me
I have always needed you
I could never make it alone

Chorus

Just like a knight in shining armor
From a long time ago
Just in time I'll save the day
Take you to my castle far away

Chorus

We'll live forever
Knowing together that we
Did it all for the glory of love

We did it all for love

A good day today... at least so far it is. Woke up early in the morn, 8.45am and got ready to head to SCC. My family agreed to go bowling so we booked 2 lanes from 10am to 12nn. It was fun... highest score was only 94... need to get at least a hundred for once... need to train lar! After that, we went to the basement to play pool and table tennis. Ben got sooooo fed up when i keep missing the ping pong ball... haha! He almost begged me to leave the game so that he could play with dad... but his pride got in the way. Just wanted to make him frustrated so i just kept playing... and missing! LOLX. We finished playing at around noon then went to Jalan Kayu to buy nasi bryani for dinner. Afterwards, we drove to Compass Point for lunch, did a little shopping at Cold Storage and home sweet home. Well... not really that sweet when you have to think about all the homework waiting for yea. Well, guess I have to get onto my self-studying for geog liao... if I don't save myself I know I will flunk geog... especially considering the type of teacher I have... die die also must kao zi ji already. No point crying over spilled milk... a little failure will not knock me over... imagine 2/15 leh... so i'm off for some research on manufacturing and industries... wish me luck!

And oh yeah... HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!

Haven't blogged for quite a while... decided to do it today... School was only half-day cause of the National Day celebration. The class [well, most of them] are going to watch 'The Village". I decided not to go since it's so late and so far... Imagine 7pm at Orchard. Maybe considered early for some but I just don't wanna be so far away from my cosy home , especially not when i have to leave grandma alone at home and that my mood is not exactly on the bright side today... Haiz~ Quite upset with some people actually... just because some people not keen on going for the movie, they had had to brand you as anti-socials or outcasts. How hostile can this world get anyway? Hate it when they give you peer pressure by saying 'no class spirit'. Goddamit, I was really pissed off so I decided not to go... Furthermore, I hate to go out in big groups, especially for a movie. Gets too noisy and rowdy... Bah! Sucks when some people never understands you... This world is indeed cruel...
